[EPC]: Summer International School on The European Railway System (SISTERS 2026), 14-22 July, 2026, Rome, Italy
Following the first successful editions in 2024 and 2025, in the framework of the EU-Rail funded projects Academics4rail, PhDs EU-Rail and SERAS, we are pleased to announce that the third edition of the Summer International School on The European Railway System (SISTERS 2026) will take place in Rome, from 14/07/2026 to 22/07/2026.
The participation is free of charge for Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD students (travels, accommodations and subsistence are not included).
We kindly ask you to share the attached leaflet with all your students potentially interested to participate.

Institute of Management at the University of Szczecin, Institute of Infrastructure, Transport and Mobility at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, and Faculty of Economics at the University of Gdańsk are pleased to announce the 22nd edition of the International Scientific Conference EURO-TRANS, which will take place in Szczecin on September 21–22, 2026,
under the theme “Innovative Transport System. Efficiency, Safety and Security”.
The conference partner is the European Platform of Transport Sciences, which brings together universities and scientific transport associations from 18 European countries.

Das Baltische Verkehrsforum der DVWG Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, das seit vielen Jahren als wichtiger Treffpunkt für Akteurinnen und Akteure aus Verkehr, Wissenschaft, Wirtschaft und Politik gilt, widmet sich in diesem Jahr einem besonders aktuellen Thema:
„Schienenverkehr 2026 – Resilienz von Güter- und Personenverkehr im Kontext von Generalsanierungen“
Im Mittelpunkt stehen die Herausforderungen und Chancen für den Schienenverkehr in Zeiten umfassender Infrastrukturmodernisierung. Diskutiert werden unter anderem Strategien zur Sicherstellung eines resilienten Güter- und Personenverkehrs sowie Perspektiven für eine leistungsfähige und zukunftssichere Bahninfrastruktur.
Die Veranstaltung wird von der DVWG Mecklenburg-Vorpommern gemeinsam mit der European Platform of Transport Sciences (EPTS) organisiert und bringt erneut hochrangige Expertinnen und Experten aus ganz Europa im wunderschönen Ostseeraum zusammen.
